Online Art Parties on Zoom!
If your child is aged 7+ and loves to draw, paint and create, we can run an online arty party on zoom for their birthday. We can even run a drawing or painting party for adults!
This is a great option, especially if you have family or friends around the globe.
See below for options that work well as an online arty party. We have chosen activities that do not need a lot of resources at home.

Party Options...
Zendoodle Animals
- Explore the beautiful art of many artists who use the Zendoodle technique. The Zendoodle technique involves creating intricate patterns inside sections of a drawing. The method has proved to be very popular in recent years as it is very relaxing and highly addictive! A calming and creative birthday idea for your child!
Resources needed at home: paper, pencil, rubber, black pens (colouring pencils or paint to add colour optional)
Recommended age: 7-14

Manga Faces
- This is an arty birthday party for older children (age 9 and up) who want to explore the popular style of Manga, used to create graphic novels and comics in Japan. You can also see the style portrayed in many anime films such as 'Spirited Away' or 'Howl's Moving Castle' . The children will learn how to create their own Manga character in this popular GO SKETCH party.

- Explore the cute world of Japanese Kawaii cute cartoons! Learn to draw cute animals, food, objects and more in this adorable style.

Robots!
- This is an arty birthday party for children who love to use their imagination! We will be drawing funny, cute and creative robots in this fun art party.

Cartooning
- A birthday party idea which looks at how cartoons are created from simple frameworks, allowing us to create our very own cartoon character which could be anything from a cat to a person to a made up character. Learn to create different expressions in the eyes to bring your character to life!

How it works...
1. We provide the following via email before the party for you to share with parents:
- > Invitation to party
- > Joining instructions with images so simple to follow (Every parent has a unique url to join party so it is secure)
- > Zoom instructions with screenshots in case parents are not familiar with it
- > A list of equipment each child needs at home
2. We have a test party where you get to practise signing in etc before the event
> You are also invited to share any artwork your child may like to include in the teaching resources to make it personal to them
3. During the party we will:
- > Have 5-10 mins of chat time at the beginning for children to connect while we wait for everyone to arrive
- > Start with a fun drawing game
- > Teach an art lesson where children get to choose what they create based on the skills they have learned
- > Encourage children to talk and connect while they draw
- > Offer support to any children that are stuck or need help
4. After the party we will:
- > Send an email to the parents with photos from the party (emails are then deleted from our system)
> Send photos and a video of all children singing happy birthday to the family who booked the party.
